We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I am serving at Virginia Tech! Some interests of mine include playing sports like basketball or golf, learning new jump rope tricks and spending time with friends at sporting events. If you think there isn’t a way to bring a sports topic back to the faith, I am happy to prove you wrong! I am excited to take in all that Blacksburg, Virginia has to offer this fall!
I am from Topeka, KS and graduated from The University of Kansas in December 2020. At KU, I was introduced to FOCUS. Sincerely, FOCUS and The St. Lawrence Catholic Campus Center altered the trajectory of my life. I went from knowing who Jesus was, to actually knowing Jesus. John Michael Lucido and the other missionaries were there for me in the lowest moments of my life. They built me up and taught me how to live the life of a disciple of Jesus Christ. I was able to lead a bible study in my fraternity, Alpha Tau Omega, and work with two younger students in discipleship. These opportunities were very important in my deeper conversion in college. I found I was more fulfilled leading men to Christ than anything I did at KU. Due to this and my own relationship with my missionary, I said yes to serving Christ on the college campus. It has been really cool to see Christ work in my life but also in the lives of the people around me. I am excited to see what doors Jesus opens and where he leads me in the future. Praise God! Rock Chalk Jayhawk! Let’s Go Hokies!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
