Hi!!! I’m Amanda, and I’m a third-year FOCUS missionary.

Where I serve

I graduated from James Madison University in 2022 with my Master of Arts in Teaching, served as a missionary for two years at the University of Pittsburgh, and now I will be serving as the Team Director at West Virginia University!!

My Story

During my time as a student at JMU, I was very involved in life on campus. From living in my freshman dorm, to being in a sorority, to working for the orientation team, to being a student leader at the Catholic Campus Ministry, I was in constant search of relationships. Over time my heart began to see that relationships are the most important part of our lives, and it was my relationship with people who knew Jesus personally that began to change my life. My friends at JMU walked with me to form holy habits like praying each day, going to Mass, and living a balanced life that is both virtuous and joyful. Because of these amazing relationships, I was able to form my own true relationship with Jesus and am now entering into the universal call to share this relationship with others.

A relationship with Jesus is for everyone. I am beyond grateful to have relationships on this side of Heaven that are so good, and to have a God who loves us so deeply and intentionally. I am so grateful to be a missionary!
