We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hello and welcome to my missionary page! Thank you for checking out the beautiful mission of FOCUS:) We would love to have you join us on mission!
I am back for my second year with FOCUS and am at the University of South Dakota with my amazing team.. GO YOTES!!
When I came to college I thought I had a good knowledge of the faith and who Jesus was. The thing I didn’t know was just that. It was when I got to college and met a FOCUS missionary that I got to know Jesus on a deeper level and realized what I was truly made for. I discovered that as a child of God we are made for a real relationship with the one who created us. Through a series of retreats, conferences, bible studies and much prayer I found my true identity as a beloved daughter of God, and that He wants nothing more than for me to live abundantly in this life and all of eternity with Him. As I got involved at my Newman Center at North Dakota State University (roll herd), I found true authentic friendships that showed me what it meant to love like Jesus. These friendships pushed me everyday to grow deeper in relationship with Christ and strive daily to live a life of excellence in the way Jesus calls us to. Now, I hope to do the same for anyone and everyone I encounter because we are all made for a greater love that you can’t get from anything this world has to offer. This greater love has a name, and his name is Jesus 🙂
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. This mission would not be possible if it wasn’t also for the “yes” of people like you who are willing to help make a difference on the college campus as well. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you!
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
