We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“For once you were darkness, but now in the Lord you are light. Live as children of light”
Ephesians 5:8
The Lord has called me to serve college students at Oklahoma State University – Go Pokes! I am so excited to meet and get to know their students and walk with them as they grow in relationship with Jesus.
For all of my life up until college, I was craving love and relationship from those around me. I had a loyalty to the Catholic faith that I had been raised in, but I was missing one crucial and foundational thing: a personal relationship with Jesus. By the grace of God, the Lord brought me into this intimate relationship with Himself during my sophomore year of college. Looking back, so much of my life before Christ was lived in darkness, shame, fear, anxiety, and a lack of real love. Right at this very moment, there are millions of college students who are living in this same darkness, and the Lord wants to bring them into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). And He wants to use us missionaries to encounter these students with His love and light and to introduce them to true relationship with Him.
A discipleship group I led during my time as a student at the University of Kentucky – Kate, me, Olivia, and Elly.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
