Where I serve

I am serving at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana!!!

I will work with their Newman Center, campus ministry, and the Catholic Church to evangelize to students and help them to know Christ in their lives. FOCUS missionaries have had a great impact on my journey throughout college and I cannot wait to serve other students in the same way!

My Story

During my undergraduate years at University of Cincinnati, I thought I had everything I needed to be happy, but I wasn’t truly fulfilled. Putting my worth in things of this world, and succumbing to the norms of a secular, college culture, I was never truly satisfied. It was through FOCUS outreach on my campus that I began to sincerely know Christ and was invited to enter more deeply into relationship with Him. This experience not only changed my life but clarified the purpose for which God created me. In the words of St. Augustine:

“You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in you.”

This profound change inspired me to share the Gospel’s good news so others could come to know the deep love that Christ has for them. Leading Bible Studies and Discipleship groups, and watching my friends grow in the faith, and experiencing the life-changing joy it has brought their lives, has inspired me to continue to live mission as a full-time FOCUS Missionary.
