We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Get ready cadets, West Point Military Academy here I come! I am incredibly excited to be working with the military cadets as most of them begin to realize what life is like while living away from family for perhaps the first time. The Holy Spirit always calls everyone to serve where they are needed most, whether that is within our families or on a college campus. In His divine providence, He decided I am needed at West Point serving the cadets and I intend to follow His guidance and serve the best I can!
I grew up in your typical cradle catholic big family. I always knew Jesus but never allowed Him into my life nor my heart. Growing up and learning what I was taught through the Maryland public school system, I learned to place my identity in what others thought of me and earthly things. Since my identity was placed in something so fragile, my desperate need for approval and fulfillment lead me into reaching for worldly things trying to fill as what Fulton Sheen says is “a God sized hole in [my] heart.” Unfortunately for me, I kept that mentality my whole life until I went to college, searching to fill that God sized hole, not knowing it was God I was looking for.
Unknowingly, I eventually found what I was looking for when someone (another FOCUS Missionary in fact) invited me to into his life and mission. He showed me what the Love of Christ looks like and I was completely hooked. This Love was the perfect size to fill that hole in my heart and I just needed more and more of it. His Love helped me to understand that my identity is not of this world and could never be. My identity came from God Himself, as His beloved son. And this message does not just apply to me, but to all of His children. This breakthrough was not something I could contain. I knew I needed to share this message with as many people as I could, which is why I answered God’s call to spread His Word. I wanted to help the souls like me on a college campus, who are lost waiting to be found, and show them the Love of Jesus Christ.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
