God has called me to serve college students at Wichita State University. You’ll typically find me hanging out out with students at the university cafe, going to basketball games, leading a bible study, or meeting people/getting lunch with students around campus. An encounter with Jesus my junior year of college changed my life. And it’s such a blessing I get the opportunity to invite students into the abundant life. I’d love to share that story with you sometime.

Man Fully Alive is the Glory of God – Irenaeus. I see a deep hunger in people, longing for more, which Christ alone fills. I want to make Christ known. My junior year after moving away for the first time -my identity in was shaken I started going out every weekend, dating different guys, and became passive in my faith. I remember one Sunday at Mass feeling broken, dirty, and unworthy and I heard the words of Christ, “You are mine,” repeated in my head. Through my growth in relationship with Christ and the help of a FOCUS missionary – I no longer settled for mediocrity but was taught what it means to be a Daughter of the one true King. 

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus.
