God has called me to serve college students at Drake University – Go Bulldogs! It has been a blessing to serve on the campus where my fianc Erik is finishing Law School as we prepare for our marriage in June! Des Moines has quickly become home to me thanks to the wonderful team I work with and the students that I serve. 

Jesus personally transformed my life through FOCUS while I was a student at Kansas State and Missouri through authentic friendship with FOCUS missionaries. It was through their willingness to share the gospel with me, build me up in the sacraments, and teach me how to pray that propelled me into mission. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus own example to find the best method of reaching the world, and it has given me great joy to be able to utilize this method with the students I serve at Drake University.

I am also incredibly excited to share that Erik will be joining me as a full-time missionary with FOCUS after his graduation in May. We could think of no better way to begin our marriage than in service to the Lord as missionaries! 

When Erik and I answered the call to join FOCUS, we made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help us through this mission. We’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with us as we serve on campus.
