The Lord has called me to serve the students of Carroll College in Montana! I am stoked to be serving in the Northwest, as I am from Washington State. I am a second year missionary, and I am ecstatic to continue deepening relationships and meet new students at Carroll. It was in meeting FOCUS missionaries that changed my life, and I am humbled to have the opportunity to strive to do the same for students.

Throughout my four years in college, I experienced a lot of moments with Christ, all varying of my receptivity of them. Through immense joys, suffering, friendships, you name it. I came in as a freshman assuming I would not go to church at all. What shifted that assumption was encountering people on my campus at Eastern Washington University from the campus Newman Center. In particular, FOCUS Missionaries. It was through their relentless pursuit of my heart that made me realize ultimately the intricate ways of how Jesus was pursuing my heart. My third year at Eastern was where I fully realized that a relationship and life with Christ was not only something my heart desired, but it was something I desperately needed. 

As I was wrapping up my third year I knew I was not going to leave my college campus satisfied with mission on a college campus. Which ultimately led the way to discerning the possibility of being a FOCUS Missionary. The missionaries that I met changed my life for the better, because they led me to meeting Jesus in a way I never knew was possible. Through all the ways the Lord provided for me in my time at college, I felt indebted to repay all the ways in which I received from FOCUS Missionaries. I wanted the chance to show students that the distorted identity rooted in earthly things on a college campus is not who we are made to be. Nunc Coepi! (Now I begin!)

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus.
