We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
God has called me to serve college students at the Lindenwood University. Go Lions! You’ll typically find me hanging out at the university caf , the Catholic Student Center, or high-fiving people around campus. I have a pretty cool story about how Jesus has changed my life — I think you should hear it sometime! Come find me and I’d love to share it with you.
My freshman year of college, I searched for deeper meaning and purpose in life amidst the college culture. It wasn’t until I joined a Bible study and attended a retreat that I become open and receptive to where God was calling me. After discerning to take a step back from university and attending community college, my trust in the Lord grew because I knew He had a greater plan for my life. After placing radical trust in God’s plan for my life, I transferred and attended nursing school at Valparaiso University. During my time at Valpo, I was blessed to encounter Jesus through developing a prayer life, Bible studies, mission trips, retreats, and authentic Christ-centered friendships. Because FOCUS missionaries invested in me and my relationship with Jesus, I found joy living a life centered in Christ. God called me serve as a FOCUS missionary because I want to share with students the joy and hope of the Gospel!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. You can reach me at [email protected] I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
