God has called me to serve college students at Clemson University for a second year! I’m excited to be joined on campus with my teammates, Gayle, Jack, Madeline, Ben, and Caroline. Go Tigers!
Growing up in the Catholic church, I was introduced to Christ at an early age, but it wasn’t until my college years that something changed. I had undergone a conversion of the mind before I began at Mississippi State University, but I came to the realization that I wanted more. I didn’t just want to know things about Jesus, I wanted to KNOW Jesus.
As I began to seek out relationship with him, I was introduced to FOCUS during my senior year of college. We were an expansion campus, and it was our first time with missionaries. Developing friendships with them was an absolute blessing. Joining their bible studies, participating in their discipleship groups, and ultimately knowing Christ’s heart through their witness brought to me a joy and desire to love him well. I wanted to say “yes” to whatever Jesus had planned for my life.
As I finished up my mechanical engineering degree at MSU, I recognized a desire to serve others and a desire to make an investment of the soul; to move beyond what I was comfortable with and dive head-first into life with Christ. I didn’t know what this would look like, but I knew I was being called to trust the Lord with my future after graduation. This led me to becoming a FOCUS missionary.
As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life was transformed by Jesus during college as I experienced a period of cleansing and conversion of the heart. During that time, Christ called me to love and to be loved in a profound and amazing way. I want nothing more than to bring this love (and ultimate joy!) to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.
