We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I have been called by God to join Him in the adventure of bringing His Word to cadets at the United States Military Academy at West Point. It is an absolute blessing to serve those who will serve. I am especially grateful for the opportunity to bring Jesus to the cadets, particularly the women – our future female army officers – and remind them of their belovedness.
As a missionary, I hope to lead cadets into deeper intimacy with God. The Lord has been continually pursuing me, inviting me to encounter him more each day. I hope to share this invitation with others by showing them the love of Christ.
I was blessed to be surrounded by an incredible faith community during my college years at Pitt. The FOCUS missionaries I met and especially the bible studies they led were huge influences in leading me closer to the Lord.
I hope to be part of making this a reality for others, especially the cadets at West Point this spring. More than the average college student, cadets are under huge amounts of pressure. It can be easy to lose sight of what is most important in the chaos of their many responsibilities. As a missionary at USMA, I get to help them put Christ at the center of all they do and put their identity first and foremost in being beloved children of our Heavenly Father.
These cadets will graduate and commission to become officers in the army and serve all over the country and the world. They have the unique opportunity to bring Christ with them, to be missionaries, to those they serve and those they lead.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission, particularly in fundraising the entirety of my salary. If you are interested in partnering with me on this mission, I’d love to set up a meeting with you!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
