We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I have the privilege of walking with college students on their journey toward heaven. I will invite them to develop an authentic relationship with Christ, help build up their formation, and then encourage them to go out and spread the gospel to those they encounter. I will be serving at Indiana University!
I just finished my Master’s degree in Speech Pathology and was gearing up to compete in Miss Indiana when the Lord called! He called me to be His missionary and to give Him my Fiat (yes)!
A priest shared with me the story of the rich young man, the parable I had heard many times before. This time it resonated deep within my heart. The rich young man asked what he needed to do to gain eternal life. Jesus said to follow the commandments which the young man had been doing since his youth. What else must I do? the young man asks. Looking at him, Jesus felt a love for him and said to him, “One thing you lack: go and sell all you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven and come, follow Me.”
The young man walked away sad because he owned a lot of things. I realized I was the rich young man. In the eyes of the world, I had so many things going for me, yet Jesus tells me that I will receive greater treasures by following Him and winning souls for Christ. So with a heart like Mary, I gave Him my Fiat and said “Behold I am the handmaiden of the Lord, let it be done unto me according to thy word.”
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
