I am a first-year missionary at Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA! You’ll typically find me sipping coffee at the cafe, hanging around campus ministry, or exercising in the gym on campus. I have a pretty cool story about how Jesus has changed my life, and I’d love to share it with you 🙂

I am from a small town in Northwestern Pennsylvania, and am a cradle Catholic. Despite being surrounded by the faith for the entirety of my childhood and young adult life, I struggled to develop a personal relationship with Christ. During high school I continued to struggle with this, and eventually I fell away from my faith, family, and friends. During my junior year I attended Divine Mercy Encounter, a Catholic retreat in Erie, PA, and had a profound reconversion to the faith. I encountered Jesus and realized his perfect love for me had been present even in my hardships. I left that retreat renewed in His spirit, and I strove to continue finding that joy and peace that I had experienced there in my everyday life. 

I attended Edinboro University for my Bachelors Degree in Nursing, and while there I was privileged to serve on the E-Board for the Catholic Scots. I am so blessed to have grown in community with other Catholic students and share my faith with them through Bible studies and retreats. Without these experiences and relationships, I would not be as rooted in my faith as I am now, and for that I am eternally grateful. 

It was during my senior year that I also met my fianc Matthew! He is the FOCUS team director at Edinboro University, so we got to know each other quite well throughout the year- and honestly I had a crush on him since the first time we met:) . He even drove me to my FOCUS interview weekend in November! In February he asked me to be his girlfriend, and pretty soon after we both realized that God had even better plans for our relationship. We got engaged on May 5th, 2022 and are currently planning our wedding for May of 2023! Please pray for us!!

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus.
