We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
God has called me to serve college students at the University of Northern Colorado. I have served in San Diego for the last year and a half, so I’m new to the area and new to the cold in other words, I’ll take any advice you can give me. It’s no coincidence that FOCUS moved me here of all places. Greeley happens to be a lot like my hometown in Louisiana (I think), and it also happens to be my fianc e’s current place of residence. I’d love to dive right into all things Greeley, so definitely reach out. Besides, we were made for community. If you’re looking for fellowship, a bible study, or just someone to talk to, my phone number and email are listed on the FOCUS Campus page for UNC.
I was raised Catholic, but I didn’t truly find Christ until college. My journey began with a bible study and weekly one-on-one meetings with a leader from the host church, and culminated in a deeply moving Holy Week. Through a newfound knowledge of the true presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, I had a deep conversion, and I became a sincere believer. Belief, however, didn’t feel like enough I felt called to more. I started taking steps to learn about the person of Jesus Christ and to grow in relationship with Him: I joined a FOCUS bible study, attended their national conference, was asked into formal discipleship by a mentor with the organization, started leading my own bible study, and eventually began mentoring my own guys. From the moment I joined FOCUS, my feet never stopped moving, I never stopped growing, and I never looked back. Applying to become a missionary was daunting initially, but it continued to feel more like the most natural next step. I accepted the call to FOCUS to show Christ to those who have not seen Him and to push those who already believe to begin walking in His direction.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you, and we can schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
