Jesus has called me to serve His Church at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. It is a joy to share Christ’s love with the men of MTSU, and to grow in fellowship together. You will often find me riding my skateboard on campus, sharing a meal with friends, or in a deep theological conversation by a fire. 

I grew up in rural Appalachia and experienced little to no faith in my early years. Familial wounds were common for me, and it was difficult for me to understand God as a “loving Father.” Nevertheless, I first experienced Jesus’ mercy my senior year of High School, and spent most of my first two years at college with a non-denominational Christian organization. After a deep dive into the history of my faith, and through virtuous friendships, I found my Catholic faith and was Confirmed into the Catholic Church my Junior year of college. I went on a retreat my senior year that finally opened my eyes to the love that God the Father wants to give to us. This opened the door for an invitation to discern my call to be a FOCUS Missionary. 

After my conversion I met my wife, Alaina. We met at the Chapel on our college campus, and it has been amazing to share our faith together. She is my best friend. We were married in October of 2021, and are so happy to have our family be on mission together!

In the Gospels we find that Jesus calls everyone to go on mission for Him. By supporting my family on mission you are taking an active role in building up the Kingdom of God, your support of us means that you are serving on mission with us. How has God called you to serve?
