I am serving at Oklahoma State University!

I was blessed to grow up learning my Catholic faith from my family, especially my parents. However, during that time I never truly developed a deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ. When I went off to college my faith stagnated. During my early college years I was constantly faced with the dilemma of trying to live in the world but not of the world. I was living a double life, living for Jesus during the weekdays but not at parties during the weekends. I knew in my heart I desired to live a great virtuous life like many of my friends from the Catholic Center.

The Lord pursued me even in my weakness. Through a relationship with a FOCUS missionary I was challenged to begin leading a weekly Bible study. This is when I began taking my faith seriously. That missionary became a dear friend of mine. He helped me to develop a routine of daily prayer, receive the Sacraments frequently, and cultivate virtue in my friend group. I began to rightly order my priorities. I now believe that my worth does not come from what I do but rather it comes from my identity as a Beloved Son of the Father. As a missionary, my greatest desire is to share this life with the students I encounter by leading them to Jesus Christ.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus.
