God has called me to serve college students and student athletes at Minnesota State University. I am excited to live out and answer God’s call to the greatest adventure of all time! Did you know that God wants to have a relationship with YOU? Like a real relationship. A two-way relationship. A friendship. Where he talks to you and he wants you to talk to him, every single day, and tell him every single thing that is on your heart? I didn t even know Jesus wanted to be my friend, like my best friend. I didn t really know him until I said yes just one time, and I was able to encounter him in another part of this world. 

I love adventures. Growing up I have been blessed to do lots of traveling, visiting different countries and wonders of the world; I even worked as a tour guide for a travel sports company. All it took was saying “yes” to a mission trip to Mexico City with FOCUS my senior year of college that completely changed my life and opened my eyes. I could see God seeking after me and wanting a relationship, a real relationship, with him. 

Remember the story of the 99 sheep and the 1 lost sheep? Well, I consider myself the 1 lost sheep who didn t even know I was lost! I thought I was in the herd, I thought I knew where I was going, who I wanted to be, and happy where I was (just out on my own adventure). But Jesus never gives up on his sheep, even the one that goes astray

I have said yes to becoming a FOCUS Missionary so that I can find the other lost sheep, those who don t even know they are lost! I want to be Jesus to them, seek them, and bring them back home to a life filled with so much more hope and joy than you can ever imagine! I am extremely blessed and excited to work directly with college athletes where I can encounter them where they are at, just like I was. Playing Division 1 volleyball and basketball at Valparaiso University, I believe I can relate and understand the lives these athletes are in and show them the relationship Jesus wants to have with them too! College can be a difficult time, especially in athletics, where we are highly influenced on what to do or what to believe. We are off and on our own for the very first time. My desire is to encounter these students and walk with them, bring them on mission trips (like the one that changed my life — see photo below), and invite them into the greatest adventure of all time — chasing after Heaven and Sainthood! 

When I answered God’s call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus.
