We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I am a third year missionary at Carroll College in Helena, MT. I am a full-time varsity missionary, so my primary focus is college athletes. I love sports, so it is a joy to run [spiritually & literally] alongside collegiate athletes who strive for Heaven.
“Carroll College is meant to be a beacon to the Church in the Northwest.” -St. John Paul II.
Running has always been a huge part of my life. My next door neighbors and older sisters ran, so I wanted to follow in their footsteps. Little did I know that following in their footsteps would lead to many transformative life events. I ran cross country and track at South Dakota State University, in Brookings, SD. It was here where I developed a deeper love and meaning of my faith.
During my college career, my faith was pretty lukewarm. I thirsted for happiness, love, and truth. It wasn’t until my junior year of college, when my cross country teammate invited me to a national conference called SEEK. It was here, where I had a very powerful encounter with the Lord. It was the first time I truly felt the Lord’s love and mercy. This was a lifechanging experience for me. Everything I had learned about my faith went from my head to my heart.
After the conference, I had so much joy and love for the Lord. I went back to college where the FOCUS missionaries helped me dive deeper into my faith. As a D1 athlete, my days were packed, but the FOCUS missionaries helped me live my life for God. They invited me to Bible Studies, retreats, authentic friendships, and came to my Cross Country and Track meets. Instead of running for myself, I ran for the Lord, and that is where I found the most freedom. I searched for happiness, love, and truth, and found it through Jesus Christ.
The reason I am so passionate about this, is because people need to hear the truth. Everyone longs for happiness, love, and truth. They thirst so deeply for it. The ONLY person who can ever fulfill this longing in our hearts is God, our Father. We can share this, by sharing the Gospel and loving those in front of us.
I can’t share the Gospel and love for the Lord by myself. I need people like you. When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment.
By supporting me spiritually and financially, God is pouring out many graces onto you for it. We are a team. As St. Therese of Lisieux says, “Some give by going to the missions. Some go by giving to the missions. Without both, there is no mission.”
My prayers go out to each and every one of you 🙂 God Bless!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
