As I begin my fourth year on staff, Jesus has called me out of the Midwest to serve college students at the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs. 

Go Mountain Lions! 

As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to a personal relationship with Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring the joy of the Gospel to others. 

I began my freshman year of college at Southeast Missouri State University disinterested in my faith as I failed to find reason within it. It wasn’t until a friend said, “I’m going to convert you to the Catholic Church,” that I began to really search for the truth. After spending my entire sophomore year reading, researching, listening, questioning, and debating with my friend, it was becoming difficult to make arguments against the Church. I was tired of looking for a flaw in theology. I just wanted to know the answers to the questions that we’re all asking: Who am I? Who is God? What is the purpose of my life?

So, I began to pray. At the end of my sophomore year, I encountered God in a real way for the first time in my life and found the answers I had been looking for. I found out that I am a beloved daughter of a loving Father that created me and desires to have a personal relationship with me. (The best part is that the same is true for you.) 

I was confirmed into the Catholic Church at the end of my junior year of college (2018). Since then, I have experienced so much joy, freedom, and abundance. 

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus.
