I will be serving this fall as Team Director at Northern Arizona University! I spent the past two years serving at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, and I am so excited to continue on mission in Flagstaff with FOCUS. Here’s the team: Abel, Isabelle, Sophie, and Mark!

As a student at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, I was formed and deeply loved by our JPII Newman community. The FOCUS missionaries are the heart of this community. When I moved into Newman, I was searching for something to fill all the brokenness and loss I had experienced in my life. I entered into discipleship that winter, and had no idea that the love of Christ was the answer to my every need and desire. I was so blessed to spend four years being transformed by authentic friendship and radical availability to the sacraments.

The call to be a missionary with FOCUS is an incredible joy and honor. My greatest desire is to bring the healing love of the gospel to every student I meet. I know that His saving love is for every soul, and I have seen His mercy change the hearts of so many in my life.

“And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:18

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus.
