The Lord has generously invited me into His thirst for the students at North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND. Go Bison!! As a missionary I desire to share the love of Christ with college students and inspire them to do the same for others! With 80 percent of college students losing their faith in college, I am convicted that the college campus is at the frontline of this fight to build up the Church! FOCUS has had a huge impact on my life as a student and has the power to change the culture of college campuses across the country!

As a college student at South Dakota State University, FOCUS transformed and deepened my love for Christ, His Church, and His mission! I first got involved with FOCUS through a bible study  when I was a freshman and little did I know that was the start of an amazing journey that I am still on! Through my involvement in bible study came beautiful intentional friendships! I was deeply invested in by a FOCUS missionary who helped me grow in prayer, grow in my ability to lead a bible study, and deeply invest in others. The missionaries also modeled how to live a abundantly joyful Christ-centered life. It wasn’t long until the mission of FOCUS had me completely captivated and longing to go on mission full-time myself. I said yes to FOCUS in response to Christ’s call for me to help satisfy His thirst for souls and the help others discover the lasting joy that comes from carrying the sufferings of others just as Christ carries our suffering on the cross!

This mission is changing the future of the church, but I cannot do this alone! As missionaries we work full time on college campuses serving the students, but in order to be radically available to them we need to rely on the Spiritual and financial support of our Mission Partners.
