I am loving my first year of mission at Northern State University! Go Wolves! It has brought me such joy to get to meet staff and students around the campus and Newman Center as I enter fully into my new mission here. Through the fullness of the sacraments, daily prayer, authentic fellowship, and quality formation, my teammates, chaplain, and I eagerly work to lead the souls we encounter into a deeper relationship with Christ and His Church.

Raised as a cradle Catholic, I came to college knowing about the truth and beauty of the faith, but was still hungering for a deeper relationship with Christ and other college students striving for holiness. Jesus satisfied this longing by sending me several men and women, many of which were involved in FOCUS, who gently walked with me to Christ and showed me how to live in true, virtuous friendship. With the grace of the sacraments, several retreats, and my new friends help, I came to understand just how deeply loved I was by God and practical ways I could share the good news of His love with other people. 

Now as a FOCUS missionary myself, I am more eager than ever to go out to serve those on campus. I want to make a gift of my life to the young people I have and will encounter – to truly accompany them in their joys and suffering as they journey in their relationship with Jesus Christ. I can t wait to begin!

When I answered the call to become a FOCUS missionary, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission.
