I am serving at Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis, or IUPUI, located in Indianapolis, Indiana! I am excited to be sharing Christ with the students on this campus! 

When I began my freshman year of college, I didn’t know the real person of Jesus Christ, nonetheless what a relationship with Him looked like. Although I went to mass every Sunday, I actively avoided getting involved any more than that. When sophomore year came around, I was going through a difficult time during first semester. Through this difficult time, Jesus was able to slowly call me back to Himself. I eventually was able to go back to confession for the first time in awhile and experienced the living person of Jesus Christ in His love, mercy, and peace. After this encounter, I wanted to give myself to a life of following Him since I found He was the only thing that truly gave me joy and filled my heart. Soon after this encounter, I went to SEEK, a FOCUS conference, and learned so many practicals about how to begin growing in my relationship with Christ. After that FOCUS continued to help me as I desired to grow in my faith. I ended up getting involved in a bible study and going on a mission trip to Mexico that year. At the end of the year I was asked into discipleship where my knowledge of God and the Church was cultivated even more. Through all of these things, I have been able to radically change my life and continue growing in my relationship with God and my identity in Him. FOCUS was there every step of the way making sure that fire on my heart for Jesus never faded away. As a missionary, I desire to do just that for the students that I will be serving. I desire that we both will help each other grow as we continue to walk toward eternity.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus.
