My name is Natalie Pawelek and I am a missionary at the University of Washington where I am blessed to serve with my husband John Pawelek . The Lord calls each one of us to an incredible, unique journey and I would love to share mine with you!
I served at Louisiana State University in Baton Rogue for two years then served as the Team Director at the University of Idaho. John and I got married in the summer of 2020 and we now serve as married missionaries at the University of Washington. I am blessed to invest deeply in the students at UW by walking with them as we learn to live and love as children of God and pursue heaven together.
My sophomore year of college, a FOCUS missionary talked with me on campus and invited me into her Bible Study. This forever moment changed my life. She started deeply investing her entire self into my life and she showed me the love of Christ through prayer and the sacraments. She led me to the cross where I fell in love with our Lord and His Church. My life was transformed and I continue falling more in love with Christ and my relationship with Him daily. He has become the center of all that I do and has given me the passion to share Him everywhere I go. He is continually calling me deeper into His Sacred Heart and allowing me to accompany women on the path to heaven.
As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus own example to find the best method of reaching the world. I’ve been constantly amazed by the different souls I’ve encountered on campus and the beauty of journeying with each person.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. This mission could not be more important in today s society, but I know I cannot do it alone. By joining my support team, you will be allowing me to step onto campus and fully serve the students and missionaries. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you!
