God has called me to serve college students at the University of Kentucky. This will be my third school year on mission in Lexington. I am a proud graduate of Ole Miss. You can find me at the gym, playing football and volleyball, or hanging out at Greek Row. I would love to share the story of how I encountered Jesus Christ with you!
“The glory of God is man fully alive.” – St. Irenaeus
I grew up in Mississippi as a nominal Catholic. I didn’t know of the universality of Christ’s church on earth until I attended SEEK 2019 in Indianapolis. After spending my teenage years living a life of empty self-fulfillment, Jesus showed me His wounds and invited me to return as a Prodigal Son. This, combined with the passion that flowed through the hearts of my FOCUS missionary friends, produced a metanoia – a change of desire – in my own heart. My life has not been the same since. Now, I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the urgent and life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in the Twelve. I look to Jesus’ own example to find the best method of reaching the world. I want to bring faithful college men, both Greek and non-Greek, to encounter the Sacred Heart of Christ.
“But now we must celebrate and rejoice, because your brother was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found.” – Luke 15:32
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I humbly invite others to invest their treasures of this world so that they can make a difference in the Kingdom of Heaven. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides.” – Matthew 6:33
