We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Howdy! My name is Nate and I serve as a missionary at Georgia College and State University. I believe in the Gospel that is free and transformational. I believe that Christ offered up Himself for every human being and it is my calling to share with as many students that I can encounter that Jesus loves them infinitely and wants to transform their life.
When I was in college, I believed in God, but did not want to fully give myself to Him. I wanted Jesus to be my Savior, but my life communicated that He was not Lord and King of it. A missionary named Daniel met me on campus one day when I was in a low spot in my faith. To be honest, I didn’t want him to share His faith with me and I especially didn’t want to show up at the coffee shop and tell him where I was at in my spiritual walk with Christ. I wanted my sin, but I knew what was good for my soul and dragged myself to meet with Daniel each week. I knew that he would be confrontational and call me higher, yet I also knew he was showing more love to me than anyone else at the time. After realizing that he put up with me every week to pour all his effort into my formation, my heart started to change. I realized that if I saw Daniel on the cross dying for me, I should do anything for him. That’s what he did. He picked up his own cross and sacrificed each week for my growth in the Lord. If Daniel picked up his cross, how much more willing should I be to sacrifice my comfort for my Savior who offered himself up as a spotless lamb for me? There is a major bleed out in the body of Christ, especially on the college campus. If we can stop the bleeding and bring others to Christ by using the method of spiritual multiplication then the grace of God working through us can reach the world. The Apostle tells us that “the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” If God so moves you, please help me share this with the world. The harvest is plenty.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
