After serving two years as a missionary at Southeast Missouri State, God has called me to serve for my third year at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville! I’m excited to see all the Lord has in store!

My team and I work alongside the St. Augustine Catholic Center to bring students to encounter Jesus in prayer, the sacraments, retreats, and bible studies! It is truly a gift to walk alongside these college women  and help them to see each other and all those they encounter as brothers and sisters in Christ.

I was raised Catholic and grew up going to mass with my family. My faith was something I did, but not really part of who I was. In high school I got involved with our youth ministry program. There I began great friendships and saw people who were searching for something more to life. In college, I knew I desired to grow in my faith and make it my own. When FOCUS came to my campus my sophomore year, my whole life began to truly change. I joined a bible study where I learned how to pray, what the church actually teaches about social issues, and grew in relationship with Jesus on a personal level. Through serving others, I learned that if I could imperfectly love others despite their flaws and past, how much more could God love me as I am.

I began leading my own bible study that spring out of a desire to share this newfound love that I had for Christ with other women, and have continued to do so for my last 2 years of college. I have continued to grow in love for Christ and have joyfully accepted the call to serve Him on the college campus as a FOCUS missionary. I desire for students to know that their identity is not rooted in their success, relationships, or by how other people see them. I believe that changing the world starts with each of us seeing ourselves as God does and striving to treat others with the same dignity and respect. I desire to change hearts for Christ through this opportunity with FOCUS.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission.

It is said that “some give by going and others go by giving”. Becoming a mission partner and supporting the mission is an opportunity to allow others to join me on mission.
