We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hey! My name’s Sean. I’m a FOCUS missionary currently serving at the University of Georgia.
God has called me to serve college students. You can usually find me meeting people at the student union or encountering more friends at the Catholic Center. I love to have good conversations at coffee shops and while playing disc golf!
As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. I remember when I was a sophomore in college, I was really struggling with what to put my identity in. Would it be in who I was as a student? A fraternity brother? A good sibling? Right around that time, one of my friends from the Newman center asked me if I wanted to strive to live a life that was centered around Christ, and he showed me where I could truly find my identity as a son of God. Since then, I have seen God slowly working in my life to heal me and to draw me in closer to himself, and now I want to give the same opportunity to those around me.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
