God has called us to serve college students at the University of Maryland. We are looking forward to learning mission as a married couple. Particularly, we want to invite students into our family, because many young people today have not seen a healthy, intact marriage before and we want to show them that not only is a life giving marriage possible, but it is awesome!

Will:

As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring His joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our turf by taking on our humanity and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few men. I look to Jesus’ own example to find the best method of reaching the world. I am constantly amazed by the different souls I encounter on campus at the University of Maryland.

Cora:

Even though I was raised Catholic, it wasn’t until college that I fully embraced my faith and made God my priority. This change happened in large part thanks to the FOCUS missionaries at the University of Virginia, who showed me how to live the faith authentically and with joy. It was actually through a mutual FOCUS friend that Will and I first became friends! Although my full time job is with a think tank in Washington, DC, I’m overjoyed to be joining Will in his mission to share God’s love with the students at Maryland. Thank you so much for making it possible for us to serve. Wahoowa! I mean—Go Terps!

When we answered the call to join FOCUS, we made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me be free to give everything to Christ and His mission. We are blessed with the most amazing people who have chosen to journey with us as we serve on campus.
