I serve at the Denver Support Center in Golden, CO.

My Story

I grew up attending Catholic school until high school. It was a great experience, but I entered high school still yearning for more from life. This is when I encountered God the Father at a retreat called ‘Steubenville’ during summer break, leading into my sophomore year. During adoration, I could tangibly feel my body reacting to the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. At the time, I had no idea what was happening, but I knew something was different.

I left adoration feeling incredibly nervous, excited, and deeply at peace all at the same time. Over time, I realized that God wanted a relationship with me and that He wanted to love me. When I embraced this truth, my life changed forever.

After that, I was fully committed. I wanted to devote my time and talents to Jesus and join Him on His mission. I just wasn’t sure what that would look like. I got connected with FOCUS during college and immediately recognized the transformative work they were doing in people’s lives. It wasn’t until the summer after I graduated from college that I felt Jesus calling me to join FOCUS as a missionary. He presented me with two very good job offers to choose from, and FOCUS was the one I decided on. The work I’m doing here is crucial for bringing college students and parishioners into a closer relationship with Jesus. I have faith that FOCUS is an apostolate blessed by Jesus because our founders have a very bold prayer: “Lord, if FOCUS isn’t Your will, then crush it. Otherwise, please bless it.'”

Your Impact

Jesus continues to bless FOCUS with so much goodness. God invites all of humanity to enter into our Salvation History story. He invites everyone into a role that He specifically designed for them. Right now, this is my role and where He’s calling me. I am very excited to invite you to support me in prayer and with financial gifts, so that you can join me in my mission. The Lord has blessed this ministry, and He will continue to bless those who support it!
