Where I serve

After serving 6 years as a Campus Missionary, I have now transitioned to working for the Denver Support Center (FOCUS Headquarters) as a Formation Specialist. In this role I help to bring effective formation to all our FOCUS missionaries.

In my time as a team director I was able to learn so much about what our missionaries need in order to be happy, holy, and fruitful. I am so honored and excited to work with the team who has taught me so much over the years. The impact of the Formation Team is hidden, but I think it is the backbone of all our work on campus!

My Story

As missionaries, we take plenty of time practicing telling our story of how Christ came into our life and transformed us. I have many times told the story of a missionary coming to one of my first pre-season practices at Benedictine College to invite us to bible study. But I have come to learn in my time as a missionary, that my story and my conversion happens again with every yes I say to the Lord. These yeses, especially when I already feel I have given Him everything, is what has healed me, changed me, and transformed me. My story is truly that I am a very broken young woman, and beyond my many many weaknesses I have been gifted the joy of being a missionary for Jesus Christ. In this call of mission, I have met Jesus. In my organization, in the missionaries, in my team, and in my students, the heart of Jesus is teaching me about Himself. I have found the great love of my life, and my story is that I come to know him more every day in life as a FOCUS missionary. And luckily, as I continue my journey to the kingdom, he has blessed me to lead many others with me into heaven. I hope to continue as a FOCUS missionary for as long as the Lord keeps me here and asks me to be his missionary and would love to walk with you in it.
