We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“I came so that they might have life and have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
God has called me to serve students and my team as the Team Director at Baylor University (Sic ’em!). I specialize in fraternity and athlete outreach.
When I started college at the University of Tulsa, I knew I wanted to live out my Catholic faith but I wasn’t sure how to do that outside of Sunday Mass. I competed as a Track & Field athlete and joined Greek Life my freshman year, but I still lacked authentic friendship and a personal relationship with Jesus. FOCUS missionaries and student leaders walked with me and set an example of how to live fully alive in Christ. They challenged me to pray regularly, overcome sin, grow in virtue, and share the Gospel with others.
While living in my fraternity house, my heart broke for the ways in which my brothers hurt themselves and others by pursuing worldly pleasures and achievements. I took on leadership roles and started a Bible study in the house, and during my last two years our fraternity’s culture changed in meaningful ways. As my time in college drew to a close I accepted a full-time accounting job in Tulsa, content to pursue a “normal career” and live a quiet life in a local parish. But the Lord started knocking on the door of my heart during my senior year, and before my final semester I answered His call to become a FOCUS missionary. Now, I want to give others what I myself received in college – abundant life with Christ and the tools to make disciples of all nations.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners. The ability to share this mission with others has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. If you are interested in making a difference in the lives of college students, please reach out to me and I’d be honored to share the ways you can support my work.

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
