We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
God has called and me, my wife and three children, Neri, Emilia and Josiah, to serve college students and missionaries in the Pacific Northwest!
I grew up in a very devout Catholic family. When I got to college, I walked away from the faith and pursued a life full of worldly pleasure.
At the beginning of my junior year, I met a FOCUS missionary. Through his friendship and example, I saw that living out of my identity as a beloved son of the Father is the only way to true joy and happiness. I realized I had to change my plans, priorities, and life to pursue Him. Completely surrendering to His will has been the most freeing and life-giving decision I have ever made.
I said yes to becoming a FOCUS missionary because I know that other guys in college have had many similar struggles. As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead people to Christ. I want them to experience the love and joy of a relationship with Jesus and His Church! My beautiful wife Jordan and I are so pumped to be serving in the Pacific Northwest and to be a living expression of Christ s love for the Church.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of Mission Partners to help me through this mission. As Mother Teresa said, “Some give by going, and some go by giving. Without both, the Mission does not exist.” Through your investment in the Mission, we can change the campus, culture, and world for Jesus Christ! Please pray that every student at the University of Idaho may come to know the joy of being in relationship with Jesus. Thank you and God Bless!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
