Howdy! My name’s Trevor and I’m a Varsity Catholic Missionary!
“It is Jesus who stirs in you the desire to do something great with your lives, the will to follow an ideal, the refusal to allow yourselves to be ground down by mediocrity, the courage to commit yourselves humbly and patiently to improving yourselves and society, making the world more human and more fraternal.” St.Pope John Paul II
God has called me to serve college students, specifically now at South Dakota School of Mines, Go Harcrockers! You’ll typically find me hanging out at athletic practices, the Newman Center, or hanging out with the fellas. I have a radical story about how Jesus changed my life forever back in April 2019 — I think you should hear it sometime! Shoot me a message and I’d love to share it with you. 🙂
As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and our Blessed Mother and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus own example to find the best method of reaching the world. I’ve been constantly amazed by the different souls I’ve encountered on campus.
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
