The Recruitment Team

After five amazing years as a campus missionary, I now serve as a Recruitment Manager. My team works to help men and women to become FOCUS Missionaries! We visit different campuses, host recruitment events, and follow up with students one-on-one. Our ultimate goal is to help them say “yes” to God’s call in their life-whatever that may be! We develop relationships with applicants throughout the year and run our recruitment weekends. I truly believe that the men and women who are formed as missionaries in FOCUS are changing the world, and truly becoming our generation’s next saints. It is an honor and a joy to serve on this team!

During my freshmen year of college I attended the SEEK conference that is put on by FOCUS. I was completely in awe seeing thousands of vibrant college students from all over the country who were actively searching for their faith. I had never seen people my age live out the faith with such radiant joy and complete conviction. I encountered truth, beauty, and goodness in the Catholic Church and I knew that I wanted to spend my life inviting others to encounter the same. That conference planted a seed in my heart, that led my faith to grow abundantly. I started getting involved in a weekly bible study, attending daily mass, and encountering true & authentic friendship. My life has never been the same.

As a missionary, my deepest desire is to lead everyone into the greatest love story ever told—Jesus coming to earth to restore and redeem us. His incredible transformation of my own life inspires me to spread this joy and invite others into the abundant life found in knowing Him. The world is thirsting for the Gospel and a freedom that can only be found in the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Jesus chose to reveal His love through meaningful relationships with others. I seek to follow His example by giving my time and heart to others. Over the past five years, God has led me to accompany college women at the University of Pittsburgh for all five of my years of campus. Now, I am excited to continue serving with the FOCUS Recruitment Team!

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission.
