God has called me to serve at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. Go Blugolds!!

Growing up, I was raised in a Catholic household. We went to Mass on Sundays, and I attended Catholic school my whole life. Losing my faith wasn’t something I ever questioned until I got to college. Once in college, I found that it was so easy to be distracted by other things, and my attention was taken away from God. My faith took a backseat to everything else around me. Focus came to my campus in my second year, and that’s when my life started to turn around. 

A good friend invited me back into Bible study, and I encountered Christ through the men I met with and His Word. From there, I hit the ground running. I started learning how to pray, went back to Confession and Mass, built authentic friendships, and adhered to the teachings of the Apostles. As I continued to be pushed to put Christ first in my life, I felt the call to be able to do this for others. To help others find Christ and make him the center of their lives. I am so excited I get to continue to share the Gospel with students on college campuses and the love Christ has for them!

By answering the call to join FOCUS, I decided to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’m so blessed that I have some amazing people who are journeying with me as I serve on campus!
