We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Thank you for your yes! Your yes to supporting the mission will not only change my life, but the lives of countless students!
I serve at the University of Cincinnati with my wonderful teammates Abbey, Delaney, and Zach! The University of Cincinnati has just reached a combined total of 50,000 students, and we are pumped for the opportunity to reach so many students. Everyone on the team is new to serving at UC, so please pray for us as we transition to our wonderful, new campus. Cincinnati is ready to come alive with the love of Christ, and you are able to help us make that a reality.
My story is filled with giving God one little yes at a time, and Him turning them into an explosion of love.
Most of my life, I struggled to connect with my peers. I felt alone and abandoned. This is when God asked for my first yes: to go to Mass every Sunday. I was planning on continuing this into college, but God had more planned for me. He asked me to say yes to going on the semesterly retreat. He then asked me to say yes to leading a Bible Study, to say yes to joining the Catholic Student Leadership Council, and to say yes to leading the semesterly retreat.
Through each yes, I realized I was not just taking on more work. I was saying yes to allow God to love me more. And the love He gives is way more than what my yes gave to God. Now I have the opportunity to help students grow in their yes to God.
My yes has completely changed my life.
Your yes is more than a financial gift. FOCUS has been able to radically impact tens of thousands of college students’ lives by bringing them to Christ. Your yes contributes to this. I am able to grow in authentic friendship with students, and see them come alive as they discover God’s love for them.
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
