We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.”
-Philippians 4:6
The Lord has called me to serve the students of West Virginia University! I can’t wait to arrive on campus and be a witness to the Gospel alongside my teammates Colin, Julia, and Mary.
I grew up in a small Catholic family that instilled in me the value of attending mass and receiving a Catholic education. The Church was always a part of my life until shortly after I arrived at college, where I fell into a secular lifestyle and stopped receiving the sacraments. This led me to a dark and restless place where I began to search for meaning.
Thankfully, I was reintroduced to Christ by a couple of roommates during my junior year. I was inspired to return to mass and finally get involved with my campus ministry. I was pursued by a FOCUS missionary who showed me how to have a relationship with God and put Christ at the center of my life. I desire more than anything to grow in holiness and facilitate that encounter with Christ for other students.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to join alongside me in this ministry. If you are interested in joining me on mission, I would love to set up an appointment with you! I can be reached at [email protected].

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
