Dr. Angela Harrison received her BS in Nursing at the University of San Francisco in 1986 and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Creighton University in 2019. During the gap between degrees, she raised six children while moving around the world (Los Angeles, New Zealand, San Francisco, Singapore, Ireland, New York, Canada and Boise).
During the child rearing years Angie kept busy in leadership roles on school parent associations, she taught art and religion classes, she chaired committees for several large fundraisers and social events and she worked with refugees and disadvantage youth in her community.
Angie currently volunteers as a Family Nurse Practitioner at a Christian free health clinic in Boise and helps run a medical clinic in rural Haiti. She serves on several boards including the Idaho Youth Ranch, Bishop Kelly High School Foundation, St. Alphonsus Hospital Foundation, Angels Among Us and Salt and Light Radio.
Together, Angie and her husband James established a charitable organization, Angels Among Us, that supports non-profits with an emphasis on serving the poor.
In addition to her six children Angie has four daughters-in-law and four grandchildren. One of her sons is a fifth year FOCUS missionary serving in Passau, Germany.
