Honoring Two New Mothers on the Alumni Team
We’d like to take a moment to congratulate two of our FOCUS Alumni teammates who recently had babies!
Katherine Eby welcomed her first child, Ralph Basil, on April 4. Courtney Gladitsch welcomed her third child, Henry Jerome, on April 18. This issue is specially dedicated to these mothers and all our alumni mothers who are imitating the Blessed Mother in living out this beautiful vocation. To all loving mothers and mother-figures, thank you!

Burnout & Fatigue with Counselor Kate Johnson
We’ve all been there at some point in our life: tired, fatigued—what some might call “burned out.” Former missionaries might relate to this after experiencing beautiful yet exhausting years of intense mission on campus. To address this topic, we will host counselor Kate Johnson in an upcoming webinar to help us better understand burnout. She’ll offer insights and practical tips to recognize and deal with feelings of burnout and fatigue. We hope you’ll join us for an informative conversation.

What does AL+UM mean?
AL+UM (Altum) comes from “Duc in Altum”, which means to“Set out into the deep.” This call, to set out into the deep, is the call of every person seeking after Christ. You are on a different mission now than when you were on campus, yet as you cast your nets, the Lord will certainly bless you with a great catch if you continue to trust in Him.
