My wife and I serve at The University of Texas at San Antonio! We, along with the rest of our team, have the joy of serving the students at this university with the goal of reaching the whole campus!

We are blessed with the opportunity to pursue these students through Bible studies, discipleship pods, and everyday life to build up the domestic church and fulfill Christ’s Great Commission.

I grew up in a small town in South Texas, where faith was integral to my family life. After having a deep encounter with Christ at a Youth ACTS Retreat in my junior year of high school, I shared my experience with my family and joined RCIA. Not long after, the rest of my family joined RCIA through individual convictions of the Catholic faith and we all came into the Church that May.

After graduating high school, I attended Texas A&M as a new convert to the faith. While I desired to be involved at the Catholic Center, my main priority was making college the most fun time. Through that, the Lord found ways to draw me closer to Himself. I made friends at the Catholic Center, including my wife, and began getting involved in an organization there. Very slowly, I left behind the lifestyle I thought would fulfill me and formed an authentic relationship with Christ.

Not long after, I got involved in a FOCUS Bible study and discipleship, where someone personally invested in me. Through discipleship, I was set on fire for evangelization and reaching souls who didn’t know Christ, much like the freshman I once was. I began to lead a Bible study of men I met at Texas A&M, many of whom were co-workers or friends from the Rec Center where I worked. I eventually invited men from my Bible study into discipleship and was able to lead them into a deeper love of their Catholic faith and relationship with Christ.

After having my life transformed through being invested in my a missionary at Texas A&M, I was convicted to be a missionary for someone else. God has called me to give the same gift that He graciously gave me.

I am blessed to serve as a full-time missionary, primarily due to support from people like you! Through your generosity, I am able to proclaim the message of the Gospel to the college campus. “We wish to confirm once more that the task of evangelizing all people constitutes the essential mission of the Church” (Evangelii Nuntiandi 14).
