I will be returning to Iowa State University for a third year! It is a vibrant campus with a beautifully growing Catholic presence. I am so excited to be diving deeper in to faith with the students I have gotten to go on mission with this upcoming year, and I cannot wait to see the way the Lord works in their and my team’s lives!

Have you ever been in a friendship that you could describe as true, authentic and vulnerable? I couldn’t until I came to college. It was there that I had encountered a FOCUS missionary that genuinely wanted to become my friend and introduce me to Christ. Jesus kind of took the lead from there, and once I encountered Him, there was no going back. I spent the rest of my college career making authentic friends who I could very easily call family and spent time getting to know Jesus. This lead me to taking my next step in faith by becoming a missionary.

Following the model that Jesus lead with of investing in a few and those few people going on to change the world, I look forward to continue to walk with a few women who, together, we can make an impact on one soul at a time on the college campus.
