There is no greater poverty than the poverty of our spirit. This is what drives my passion for college students. College students are at the point of their life where they are incredibly vulnerable, overwhelmed, and stressed. God has called me to serve these students, to love them, and to bring them to His light.

Before I became a missionary, I was serving the students of the University of Idaho as a disciple and Bible Study leader. The miracles and conversions of hearts that happened within the Greek community were beautiful and long-lasting.

I served at Boise State University for two years and now I will be serving at the University of Arizona! I am thrilled to be able to radically love these students. The Lord is truly never outdone in generosity!

I first encountered Christ my sophomore year of college when God tempted me with a Focus Mission trip to Jamaica. The application required meeting with a missionary. After that encounter, God told me to say no to the mission trip that I had just accepted, which required another meeting with the same missionary. It was this time that she invited me to her Bible Study. When I refuted with my many excuses, she said “Come as you are”. That was the beginning of a long, beautiful faith journey.

At my first FOCUS retreat, the Lord told me to give Him all of my after college plans, which consisted of returning to Africa via the Peace Corps and pursuing a Masters’s degree in community development. He emptied me of my desires and gave me one of His: become a missionary.

I applied in the Fall of 2020 and made it through all of the interview rounds only to not receive an offer. Through this heartbreak, Jesus purified and intensified my desire to serve and love students. He moved me to apply again only 2 days before the next deadline. I was then waitlisted. The Friday following Easter, I received the email that I would be interviewed. And the Friday before my graduation I received the acceptance call. The Lord is faithful to His promises always.

As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ so that they may know the deep love He has for them even when they do not feel it. I want nothing more than to bring this everlasting joy, hope, and love to students who are not yet aware that life can be better. There are students who do not yet know that they are loved and desired by a perfect God. Through the story of my life, Jesus has been preparing me to love unconditionally as He does, and I have been so blessed to witness hearts become aflame with a hope that drives their desire to go deeper with Christ.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission.
