We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
After spending two years at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, I hopped across the pond to serve at the University of Passau in Passau, Germany. After two years in Passau, my husband and I moved to D sseldorf to serve at the university for one year while welcoming our son. Now, I’m serving women throughout Europe as a Digital Outreach missionary, specifically those without FOCUS missionaries present. You can find me in a local cafe or at one of the many castles in this area.
The summer following my freshman year of high school, I radically encountered Jesus in the Eucharist at a Steubenville conference. At Steubenville, we had a night of adoration that apparently lasted two hours, but I remember nothing except falling to my knees and being completely overwhelmed by His love. However, I spent the rest of my high school career in a mix between seeking Jesus and finding value in how others saw me. This search for worth in wordly things wounded my heart. When I got to college, I sought out a Christian group and found a nondenominational church. Through this church, I was pushed to grow in prayer, reading Scripture, and surrender to Jesus. For the next three years, I grew deeper in my faith, but questions about Catholicism began to arise. There was a point where I wouldn t even say, I believe in one holy, Catholic, and apostolic Church during the Creed at Mass, because I simply didn t know if I believed in it. I encountered a FOCUS Missionary at the end of my third year of college, right when I was discerning that the Catholic Church was, in fact, the Church Jesus established. She invited me into discipleship, and for the next year and a half, I grew in love for and understanding of the Church. My relationship with Jesus only grew deeper as I encountered Him in the Eucharist. As a FOCUS Missionary, I want to know Jesus and make Him known. I want college students to find true love with Love Himself instead of seeking it in the typical pleasures of this world. I want students to radically encounter Jesus in the Eucharist and find truth in the Catholic Church. I cannot wait to see how He uses my time as a missionary to draw me and the students around me closer to His heart.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
