I work with an incredible team at the Denver Support Center. We have the blessing of receiving many modes of communication that come to FOCUS. Whether over a phone call, email or our internal communication, our role is to receive and to assist the best way possible in the request that is being made.

With amazement – I find myself working with FOCUS in a new role with the Donor
Communications Team and the opportunity to serve missionaries, donors and FOCUS at large.

In awe, I hear myself answering the phone:

Why do I find myself surprised in being a part of FOCUS?

With simplicity and humility, I share that I thought my time collaborating in a formal, active way with FOCUS was complete through my time as a missionary on campus. Yet, I cannot deny this is exactly where He has invited me to be right now.

And why did I say ‘Yes?’

Because I want to know the love of the Lord in a greater way.

I still find myself grappling in how Our Lord loves. He loves with His whole heart.

His love is not something that I can (nor do I want to) keep to myself. This gift is meant to be shared. With sincerity. Christ loves me. Christ loves you. The whole world needs to know Christ’s saving love.

I am filled with gratitude to be working alongside other missionaries seeking to share the Gospel and proclaim with joy the gift of salvation through Christ, Our Lord.
