We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hey! My name’s Anna. I’m a FOCUS missionary at Michigan Tech in Houghton, MI!
I am so excited to continue serving college students in the great white north at Michigan Tech for the second year in a row! There is snow here 75% of the school year, and we use it to our benefit! You will typically find me snowshoeing or cross country skiing, hanging out at the university cafe, our local parish St. Albert the Great, discovering a local waterfall, or trying to find the northern lights – all for the sake of the Gospel!
Meet the whole team below: Natalie, Kamaron, Katherine, Matt, me, and Adriane.
As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel.
I grew up in a Catholic military family and learned at an early age the beautiful consistency of the Catholic faith. I loved the faith but didn’t know that Jesus wanted to have a personal relationship with me. I had an incredible encounter with the love of Jesus in high school which led me to getting a degree in Theology and Catechetics at Franciscan University. Ever since, the Lord has been calling me further up and further in and showing me how deeply He loves me through Truth, Beauty, and Goodness.
It has been an absolute gift and honor to share the love of the Lord with the students at Michigan Tech, and I am so excited to continue to share His love with everyone I meet.
My dependence on God has grown since I have said yes to this mission. I realize every day that I can only serve if I am supported and sent. That’s where you come in. I have a team of mission partners that support me financially and spiritually. I would love to connect over FaceTime, grab some coffee, or send you an email about how to become a part of this mission with me!
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
