I am blessed to be serving at Columbia University as a second year Missionary. Go Lions!
Team Columbia, 2024-2025 (Anne, Jared, John, Grace)
During my time as an undergraduate at Harvard University, God intentionally sought me out and slowly deepened my love for Him. Upon entering college, I was quickly introduced to the pace of the Ivy League life. As a student-athlete, I was immersed in culture of competition, comparison, and little rest. I was surrounded by many people who didn’t know who they were nor where they were going. As an underclassman, I was heavily devoted to my studies and my sport, believing I had to earn my identity. Ultimately, this left me unfulfilled and searching — I wanted something more.
At the end of my freshman year, I encountered a student who pursued me in intentional friendship and invited me to join her Bible study. Through this friendship, my faith flourished and I found myself hungry to know the Lord. Not long after, I was introduced to a FOCUS Missionary who helped me to discover my Missionary heart and zeal for souls. Through a deepened prayer life, partaking of the Sacraments, and authentic friendship, I came to know where my true identity lies — in being a beloved daughter of God. My greatest desire is to know the Lord and to make him known!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me carry out this mission. Through your accompaniment, I am able to help bring God’s truth, hope, and love to college students. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. It would be a great honor to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
