We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
My Father’s house has many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you I am going there to prepare a place for you? – John 14:2
I’ll be serving as a first year missionary at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC! Go Gamecocks 🐔
This is my team! Jacob, Mallory, baby John, Ignacio, Ellie, Nick, Annaliese, Haley May, and myself!
I grew up in a Catholic family that prioritized going to mass on Sundays and praying. I went through middle school and high school with a surface level understanding of God’s love for me, but never really took the time to learn how to pray or develop an intimate relationship with God. I started college at Creighton University and eventually transferred to the University of Arkansas, longing for community. I went to a bible study for the first time and slowly started getting more involved in the Catholic community. I met some FOCUS missionaries who showed the importance of modeling your life like Christ with daily prayer and the sacraments. In the midst of making these things a habit in my life and starting to slowly know more of who God is, I realized what I was seeking was actually Him, and it’s through my growing friendships with the missionaries I was able to see how He was caring for me as His daughter. I saw the Holy Spirit guiding parts of my life in the past to where I am supposed to be in this present moment, which is chasing the Lord and His promise of Heaven. I want those around me to experience the same, knowing the abundant life we are called to through a relationship with the Father.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have chosen to journey with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
