We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” (Romans 12:2)
After serving three years at Florida Atlantic University and one year at the University of Miami, I will now be moving off campus and working for the Summer Projects national team! It was through Summer Projects that God deeply impacted and transformed my own life, so I am very excited and humbled to continue serving God and His kingdom in this way.
As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead others to Christ. My life has been transformed and my heart has been captivated by Jesus, and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the person of Jesus Christ and the life-changing message of the gospel. During my own college years at the University of Arkansas, I realized – ultimately through the apostolate of FOCUS and through participating in Summer Projects – that there is a big difference in simply being Catholic and going to Mass, and actually knowing Jesus Christ and pursuing a relationship with Him. We are made for more than what this world offers us, and Christ desires to bring freedom, joy, and purpose into our lives. This realization made all the difference, and it led me to a profound desire to know and imitate Christ. In this desire to imitate Christ, I desire to save souls.
In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spending most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus’ own example to find the best method of reaching the world.
As I enter my fifth year as a missionary, I am more convicted than ever that I want to spend my life sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ, “for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus, and I am convinced that this is another way the Lord desires to make Himself known through the apostolate of FOCUS! If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
